Modules of the visible system

The visible modules and their functions:


cabins ,
containing passengers or freight. There are different types of cabins.

carriers ,
moving cabins along tracks. There are different types of carrier technologies.
tracks ,
capable of guiding carriers along a predefined path. There are different track technologies. The entire track is organized in track clusters . The track consists of different track elements .



track elements:
    

  • uni- or bidirectional lines that guide and control the carrier.
  • diverges, where one line splits into multiple lines.
  • merges, where multiple lines merge to one line.
  • stops, where people enter and leave the cabins. The platform of all stops is flush with the floor of the cabin.
  • carrier exchangers, are points of the track where cabins are automatically transferred from one carrier type to another.
  • stores, where cabins or carriers are temporarily parked (for storage or to load and unload).
