Beside the transferrer categories there are the different transfer methods , defining how the cabin transfer and disconnection/reconnection of links take place.

This means the transferrer design is conditioned by:

On the one hand, preference of carriers will have an impact on the choice of the categories. But on the other hand, it may turn out that some transfer methods for a certain category are particularly advantageous with respect to the design objectives, such that the respective category is preferable. In the subsequent, some transfer methods are outlined.
