Special cabins can be designed with compartments for different classes of refuse. They would be sent to specific sites where they would be available to the public. The refuse can be removed more frequent, reducing the amount of decomposition and smell, and the number of categories can be increased. For example, the cabins might be emptied every day and have, say, four compartments. One of these would be for normal perishable food waste. A compartment might be assigned to collect paper every other day and another for bottles once a week.
