MAIT and the transport of goods

Abstract:

A MAIT system can be used to transport both passengers and goods, with different types of cabin designed for specific role, both travelling on the same carriers.

Transport has always had a profound role in shaping society. The location and size of cities, where we go to work and play and the exploitation of resources are all largely determined by transport technology.

This article is a discussion of how the MAIT concept would be applied to the transport of goods and to explore the likely impact this might have commerce and everyday life.
